Uttarkand
Having passed fourteen years' of banishment,
Ram was
to return to Ayodhya. Only one day was left out to complete the period of
fourteen years. The tide of impatience was growing high and very high every
moment. Bharat was thinking that only one day was left out but he did not have
any information of Ram's return to Aayodhya. The impatience aroused many
imaginary doubts in the mind of Bharat. Sometimes, he thought, probably
considering him cunning, clever and treacherous, Ram might have forgotten. In
his opinion, Laxman was great who was opportune by Ram so be with him in his
service. Again an other idea came to his mind if Ram took his misdeeds into
consideration, he could not have expected any good result but nature of Ram was
different. He had not ever taken his misdeeds into account rather he remained
praiseworthy for him; then kindled some light of hope that Ram could not forget
Bharat and he should return Ayodhya without fail. In the mean time Hanuman
reached Ayodhya and broke out information of arrival of Ram. The state of mind
of Bharat was beyond description. He was sitting at the conjunctive of the ocean
of impatience caused by separation of fourteen years' and ocean of bliss created
by information of Ram's return to Ayodhya. The real devotee surrenders himself
at the wishes of his reverend. He does not stipulate any terms and conditions.
He never raises any doubt on his judgment. If something goes wrong, he finds
fault with himself and if he is rewarded for his good deeds, he finds it a Godly
trace. He finds service to mankind as a graceful occasion given by God merciful
and in the job the devotee founds his own welfare. On return to Ayodhya the
coronation of Ram was done and Ram Rajya, (the state of discipline and self
governance) became the symbol of best governance. For all time to come when the
entire living and non living beings, that is not only human beings, mingle orderly in discharge and disposal of their respective duties and that is
why people were free from all types of physical, material and spiritual fervor (daihik,
daivik, bhautic, tapas). The living and non living beings mingle in complete
harmony.
